Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

Welcome to JudgePrep. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of JudgePrep, operated by JudgePrep, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use JudgePrep.

1. About Our Service

JudgePrep is an AI-powered judicial intelligence platform designed for licensed attorneys and legal professionals. Our service provides AI-simulated judicial reasoning profiles built from publicly available judicial opinions, enabling attorneys to prepare for appearances before specific judges by understanding their analytical frameworks, rhetorical patterns, and decision-making tendencies.

Important: The AI judicial profiles on JudgePrep are computational models derived from public court opinions. They do not represent the actual views, intentions, or future rulings of any sitting or former judge. AI-generated responses are analytical tools, not predictions of judicial outcomes. Please see Section 5 (AI-Generated Content Disclaimer) for full details.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

JudgePrep is intended for use by licensed attorneys, law clerks, paralegals, and other legal professionals acting under the supervision of a licensed attorney. By creating an account, you represent that you are a legal professional or are authorized by a legal professional to use this service in connection with the practice of law.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Not share your account credentials or allow others to use your seat

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on JudgePrep.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

JudgePrep offers the following subscription plans:

  • Solo Plan ($49/month): 1 attorney seat, access to the full judge directory, 10 case sessions per month. Sessions are not retained after completion. Designed for solo practitioners and small boutique firms.
  • Litigator Plan ($149/month): 1 attorney seat, unlimited case sessions, encrypted case folders (optional opt-in for session retention), and priority coverage requests for judges not yet in our directory. Designed for active trial attorneys at mid-size firms.

Case Sessions

A “case session” is a single interactive consultation with a judicial profile regarding a specific matter. On the Solo plan, case session content is not retained after the session ends. On the Litigator plan, you may opt in to encrypted case folders that retain session content for your future reference.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund policy for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your initial purchase, contact us at support@judgeprep.com for a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are provided at our discretion.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

JudgePrep provides AI-simulated judicial reasoning profiles built from publicly available court opinions. These profiles are analytical tools designed to assist attorneys in case preparation. Please understand:

  • AI judicial profiles are not predictions of how a judge will rule on any matter
  • Responses are generated by AI models and may contain analytical errors, factual inaccuracies, or mischaracterizations of judicial reasoning
  • Profiles are based on historical opinions and do not account for a judge's evolution in thinking, private deliberations, or unpublished views

6. Data Handling and Confidentiality

Session Data

On the Solo plan, case session content is processed in real time and is not retained after the session ends. On the Litigator plan, if you opt in to encrypted case folders, session content is encrypted at rest and accessible only to your account.

Client Confidentiality

You are responsible for determining whether information you input into JudgePrep is subject to attorney-client privilege or other confidentiality obligations. We recommend that you avoid entering personally identifiable client information and instead use anonymized or hypothetical fact patterns when consulting judicial profiles. We do not use your session content to train AI models.
